We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal information (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal information is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it.
You may also authorize another individual or business, called an “authorized agent,” to submit rights requests on your behalf. If you wish to have an authorized agent make a verifiable rights request on your behalf, they will need to provide us with sufficient written proof that you have designated them as your authorized agent, and we will still require you to provide sufficient personal information to allow us to reasonably verify that you are the person about whom we collected personal information.
We may have a reason under the law why we do not have to comply with your request, or why we may comply with it in a more limited way than you anticipated. If we do, we will explain that to you in our response. You have the right to appeal a denial of your request by contacting us as described in the notice of denial.
We will respond to all legitimate rights requests within the timeframe required under applicable law. Note that there are restrictions on the number of times you can exercise some of these rights.

-
Vital interests. In a case where the personal data is required to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person, then this may be used as the lawful basis of the processing. For example, we may need to process personal data in the event of a pandemic.
-
As required by law. We may process personal data as required to comply with legal obligations to which we are subject for the purpose of compliance with EEA, UK, or Swiss public, governmental, judicial, or other regulatory authorities. This could include where we are legally required to disclose your information to third parties.
-
